Lewis Vaughan first signed for Raith Rovers on 11th January 2012.

Lewis started his career as an Under-14 player for us, working his way up through the youth ranks and breaking into the Under-19 team.

He was handed a two-and-a-half-year professional contract by Raith in 2012 and made his first-team debut as a substitute in the final match of the 2011/12 season against Greenock Morton.

In 2017, Lewis was controversially loaned to Dumbarton for the remainder of that season.

He made an impact at Dumbarton, scoring goals against Falkirk and Dundee United, with his contribution playing a key part in securing the club’s safety in the Championship.

On 19 January 2019, Lewis scored his first professional hat-trick in a Scottish Cup win over Dunfermline Athletic, leading Rovers to a 3–0 victory, and has since gone on to secure himself as the top Fife Derby scorer of all time.

Lewis has had a tough time with injuries, notably suffering four ACL injuries, two on his right knee and two on his left knee.

Each injury kept him sidelined for months, however each time he has come back stronger and more determined to excel.

In March 2024, Lewis was awarded a testimonial year to celebrate his long service with us.

Lewis played his first full season of football with us in 2023/24, showing his quality as top goal-scorer and playing a huge part in the club reaching the Premiership Play-Offs.

Lewis’ current contract runs until May 2026.
