Wide midfielder Josh Mullin signed for Rovers on a three-year deal in May 2023 on completion of his contract with Ayr United.
After being signed as a youth player with several clubs (including Rangers, Celtic, Falkirk & Airdrieonians), he then spent several seasons playing junior football with Pollok and Kilbirnie Ladeside. Josh started his SPFL football journey at the age of 22 with Albion Rovers.
While at Cliftonhill he became a league winner for the first time as the wee Rovers won SPFL League Two (where he played alongside current Rovers CEO Andrew Barrowman).
Josh then moved on to Livingston (at that time in the SPFL Championship), where he eventually helped The Lions win promotion from SPFL League One before moving on to Ross County.
Whilst at Dingwall he again played his part in a league-winning side as The Staggies won the Championship and promotion to the Premiership.
Returning to Almondvale and Livingston, Josh continued as a Premiership player with David Martindale’s side before joining Ayr United at the start of season 2022/23 initially on loan, and then permanently on deadline day in January of this year.
