Raith Rovers secured the loan signing (until the end of the current season) of 26-year-old St Johnstone defender James Brown on 9th February 2024.
James has been at McDiarmid Park since signing a permanent deal with the Perth club in July 2021 and has played for the club over 80 times. He has previously spent time on loan in the SPFL Premiership at The Saints and Livingston.
Hailing from Dover, Kent – James started his football career in the Millwall youth system, turning professional as an 18-year-old, and remaining at The New Den until the end of season 2020/21 before making the move to Scotland.
He has been capped by Malta (qualifying to represent the country through his grandfather) three times since 2022, and has also played for Carlisle and Lincoln City on loan while at Millwall.
