Striker Jack Hamilton signed a three-year contract in May 2023.

Jack arrived at Stark’s Park after spending nearly six years at Premiership side Livingston, where he spent several periods on loan, gaining valuable match experience and a great reputation in the SPFL Championship after two prolific half-season loan spells with Arbroath.

Jack’s time at The Red Lichties saw him notch 18 goals in 35 matches as Dick Campbell’s squad consolidated their place in Scotland’s second tier, finishing second to champions Kilmarnock in season 2021/22. During his time in maroon, he scored four goals against The Rovers.

Jack’s entry into professional football came with Livingston as a 17-year-old, and he has spent time on loan at Berwick, Alloa (where he played alongside current Rovers player Liam Dick), Queen of the South and Fife neighbours East Fife (in season 2020/21).

In season 2022/23 Jack spent a season-long loan at EFL League Two side Hartlepool, playing alongside former Rovers player Reghan Tumilty as part of Paul Hartley’s Scottish contingent at Victoria Park.
