Back to Directors

Dean Mckenzie has business interests in Construction, Property, Sportswear and the Food sector. He launched and built Scotland’s first Conservatory Roof Conversion company in 2011 and it is now one of the UK’s leading Conservatory Roof Conversion companies. Dean gradually diversified his business interests to invest in his property and business portfolio within a range of different markets, but his main passion is football.

Dean took over the leadership of Kelty Hearts FC in 2014 from his father after the Club survived a relegation play-off in the East Junior Super League in season 2013/14.

In season 2014/15 he committed full time to Kelty Hearts and invested in the Club, as the Maroon Machine won the East Super League.

Kelty Hearts FC then went on to win six league titles in eight years (and four promotions) having moved into the Scottish football pyramid.

Dean changed the non-league level of Scottish football with a vision and strategy to move Kelty Hearts FC from junior football into the senior ranks in 2018, where the Club were crowned SPFL League Two champions in season 2021/22.

Dean joined the Raith Rovers Board as General Manager in May 2023.
