Rovers legend Colin ‘Micky’ Cameron was appointed Assistant Manager of the club in October 2022, joining up with Manager Ian Murray after the pair worked together at Airdrieonians.
Cameron is an inductee into the RRFC Hall of Fame and made 168 first team appearances between 1990 and 1996 after coming through the youth ranks at Stark’s Park from 1988 to 1990. He scored 42 goals for the Club.
He famously scored a hat trick against Kilmarnock en route to the Rovers winning the Coca Cola Cup in 1994, before joining Hearts and then Wolverhampton Wanderers (during which time he won 28 Scotland caps). Later in his career, Micky played for a number of clubs in England and Scotland before going on to manage Cowdenbeath and Berwick before his stint at Airdrieonians.
In March 2024, Micky signed a three-year extension, seeing his current contract now run to the end of May 2027.
