Connolly

Aidan started his career at Queen’s Park, making his debut for the Spiders in November 2012 whilst still at school. He moved to Dundee United in June 2013 and went out on-loan to Brechin City in September of that year. Aidan also played for Scotland U-16 and U-19 early in his career.

Aidan joined Rovers on 22nd January 2016 and made his first debut in the 0-0 draw against Dumbarton on January 23rd 2016. His first Rovers goal was scored in the 2-0 win over Livingston on 20th February 2016.

After his loan spell ended when Rovers lost to Hibernian in the Premiership play-offs, Aidan signed for York City in the English National League and then played for Dunfermline and Falkirk in the five years between his spells in Kirkcaldy.

Aidan returned to Rovers in June 2021 on a two-year contract after his contract with Falkirk ended.

In May 2023 Aidan extended his contract by a further two years, contracting him to the Club until the end of season 2024/25
