Scott Brown – February Goal of the Month
The SPFL today announced that team captain Scott Brown has been awarded the Goal of the Month Award for February 2024.
With our match vs league leaders Dundee United tied at 1-1 after Louis Moult’s 39th minute header had cancelled out Zak Rudden’s 9th minute opener, both teams were pushing for a late winner.
With the clock on the 89 minute mark, a ball into the United area was headed strongly away by Ross Graham as far as ‘Broonie’. The skipper chested the ball down and hit one of the sweetest strikes the Rovers fans have seen at Stark’s Park in years to bring home the bragging rights and three points for The Rovers.
