Roary Club Reaches 600th Member Milestone
The Roary Club passed a significant milestone last week when it signed up its 600th member since it was set up just three seasons ago. Adam Brady from Kirkcaldy was the latest recruit who joined after attending the club’s welcome session for new fans last week.
The Roary Club was established to try and make the experience of supporting Raith Rovers more enjoyable for younger fans. As well as running a popular reward scheme on match days, they have also introduced a family day, collector cards, player signing sessions, regular competitions and the South Stand shot at half-time.
This Saturday, the Raith Suite will be packed to capacity as they host their first ever Christmas Party. ‘We want to make being a Raith Rovers supporter as enjoyable as it can be for younger supporters’ said Roary Club co-ordinator Steven Lawther. ‘If we can build a strong relationship between our young fans and the club then it will help build our future support. We are delighted that in a such a short space of time, 600 young people have signed up and now have a stronger connection with Raith Rovers.’
