Raith Rovers Player Coach Kevin Cuthbert has announced his retiral from playing football, due to injury.

Kevin’s last appearance on the pitch for the Rovers came at Tannadice in February of last season, his 85th 1st team appearance for the club. Prior to signing on at Starks Park in 2014 Kevin played in 320 games for his hometown team St Johnstone as well as Morton, Ayr and Hamilton between 2001 and 2014.

Kevin will, of course, continue in his coaching role as a key part of the RRFC management setup with manager Barry Smith and coaches Scott Robertson and Craig Easton.

Everyone at Raith Rovers thanks Kevin for his performances on the pitch and wishes him well in his coaching role as his career in football continues.
