As we emerge out of the lockdown, we’ve now begun the task of getting the stadium back in shape for the return to action. Supporter Brian Forsyth, along with partner Etta Gilliard, have been working very hard over the past few days in the garden at the front of the Turnbull Hutton Stand at Stark’s Park.

Along with groundsman Eric Swinley, they have spent several days weeding, strimming, digging and removing rubbish that had accumulated since March.

They recognise that first impressions are important and for many people, especially first time visitors, and the front garden is the first thing they see when approaching the ground.

They are both happy to take this on as an ongoing project and would welcome an extra pair of hands or two… especially with green fingers!

We’ll have further opportunities for fans to get involved in helping prepare the stadium for the new season. Please get in touch with Andy Mill (andy.mill@raithrovers.net) if you’d like to help in some way.
