Defender Adam Masson has joined Lowland League Linlithgow Rose FC on loan until the end of the current season, to gain valuable game time as he continues his development.

A FEFA (Fife Elite Football Academy) graduate, Adam (aged 19) signed a Modern Apprentice contract in November 2021 as a 17 year old.

Playing at centre-back or right back, Adam made his first appearance for the first team v Peterhead in the League Cup, and in his time so far with The Rovers has played in 17 matches (10 of them starts).

He scored his first goal for the club v Cliftonville in the Challenge Cup in September 2023, turning the ball home from a well -worked corner early in the second half.

In January 2022 Adam joined East of Scotland League side Thornton Hibs on loan for the reminder of the 2021-22 season, and in May 2023 signed a professional contract through to the end of the current season.
