A Thank You message from RaithTV
The 2020/21 journey is over.
As supporters of Raith Rovers, it has been a brilliant first season back in the SPFL Championship with many memorable moments. For us, this period has been an ‘off the field’ journey we never expected to have to take just over a year ago.
In the 2021/21 season we’ve put out:
17 live streams of home games with an upgraded production to help home and away fans enjoy fixtures at Stark’s Park (a sample of our viewing figures, showing how well used the RaithTV service has been, is that nearly 3000 people logged in for the Dunfermline play-off quarter final, compared to about 120 that watched the Cup game in 2019).
Live commentary for every away game where we were allowed access.
170 free videos on our YouTube channel including highlights for every single match.
13 extended interviews with former players including Craig Brewster, Micky Cameron, Keith Wright and Jock McStay.
The list of individual thanks is long enough to fill up a RaithTV broadcast on its own. However, we would like to pick out a few groups who have helped us throughout the season:
- The players, management, Board and staff of Raith Rovers FC
- Our sponsors Rovers Down South
- The former players who took the time to spend a mid-week evening with us for our half-time/extended interviews
- The officials and Club TV workers from the other clubs and the BBC; without their co-operation we would not have been able to provide our away day content throughout the season
- Fans from all over the world who have tuned in to our content
After a short break, work will continue for us during the summer. RaithTV has some exciting plans for the future that we hope to share with you in the coming weeks.
