Raith Rovers are delighted to announce that striker Lewis Vaughan (25) has signed an extension to his contract that keeps him at the club until the end of the 2023 – 24 season.

Following his successful return to the team, Lewie is also back on the goal trail, scoring a memorable brace in the derby win over Fife rivals Dunfermline Athletic and a stunning free kick strike at Livingston in the narrow cup defeat to the West Lothian Premiership side.

In his Rovers career since making his debut aged 16 at the end of season 2011 – 12, Lewis has made 165 appearances and scored 54 goals, with many more of both expected to come over the next 3 years.

Manager John McGlynn spoke exclusively to www.raithrovers.net and said “I’m absolutely delighted that Lewis Vaughan has decided to extend his contract with the club till 2024.

Both the club and Lewis have shown tremendous loyalty to each other; the club for backing Lewis and getting him through his injuries and Lewis for returning that loyalty by committing to the club for the next three years.

It’s great news for everyone connected to RRFC, and will hopefully help us all in our push to the end of the season and beyond.”

CONGRATULATIONS LEWIE!
