Scott McGill joins on loan
Raith Rovers have today secured the loan signing of 20 year old central midfielder Scott McGill from Heart of Midlothian. The loan deal will run until the end of the current season.
Scott started his football journey at Hutchison Vale BC and Tynecastle BC before joining the Heart of Midlothian Youth Academy.
Scott made his first team debut for Hearts in season 2020-21 in the League Cup, making his second appearance for The Jambos v Raith Rovers in the same competition in October 2020.
He has previously worked with Rovers manager Ian Murray while on loan last season at Airdrieonians (making 41 appearances and scoring 5 goals), and has also spent time on loan at Kelty Hearts this season (where he made 12 appearances and scored 1 goal).
