Raith Rovers FC are delighted to announce that Allan Halliday has been appointed Football Operations Manager at the club.

Having spent the previous 11 years as General Manager of Dundonald Bluebell FC (where he also served on league management committees) the 50-year-old has extensive knowledge of football operations and administration, including SFA Club licensing.

Allan is well known in football circles and has many contacts at all levels in the game and within the SFA.

Allan will fundamentally support the football management team and the Board of Directors of RRFC in all football operation matters and has a track record of fostering close relationships and forming pathways with community clubs.

Rovers Chairman Steven MacDonald commented “Allan is a football man, well known in the game and with great experience built up going back to Glenrothes Juniors when I first got to know him. I’ve known Allan for many years and look forward to working with him at Stark’s Park”

Allan works as an Operations Manager with Fife Council and also owns a small business – Café Stance – which is based within Kirkcaldy Bus Station.
