Today a familiar face will return to the dug out and join Ian Murray and his backroom staff as Assistant Manager.

Rovers legend Colin ‘Mickey’ Cameron is an inductee of the RRFC Hall of Fame, has made 168 appearances between 1990 and 1996 after coming through the youth ranks from 1988 to 1990, scoring 42 goals for the club. He famously scored a hat trick against Kilmarnock en route to us lifting the Coca Cola Cup in 94, including that overhead kick.

Raith Rovers Manager Ian Murray said, ‘I’d like to welcome Colin Cameron back to Raith Rovers, where he started his career and I look forward to working with him again. In the next few weeks, he will get to know the players on and off the park and help them progress together with his experience and knowledge gained over the years‘.

Speaking to RaithTV after his appointment, Colin said, “I’m absolutely delighted to be back where it all started, and hopefully I can be as successful this time around as I was the first time.
