Raith Rovers are sad to announce the untimely recent passing of loyal supporter Bert Stewart in a tragic accident. Bert was a long standing supporter having first attended matches as a young child. Later in life he would travel home and away to follow the team. He enjoyed these trips with his brother in law and nephew.

Like so many other fans he was at the Coca Cola Cup Final in 1994 and the Ramsden Cup Final 20 years later, but the game which he remembered most fondly was the amazing comeback at Airdrie in August 2018 when 10 man Rovers were losing 3 – 1 in the 87th minute and won 4 – 3 in a barnstorming finish to the match.

Due to current Covid restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on 29th June 2021 at 12:45pm.

The family have stated that they would like anyone who wishes to pay their respects to Bert to do so outside the crematorium as the cortege passes. Please follow and adhere to the government Covid guidelines.
