The SPFL League 1 trophy was finally presented to the Rovers squad, coaches and backroom staff this afternoon at Stark’s Park.

All of last seasons retained players were in attendance, and were joined by Jamie Watson before he starts his SPAL (Sports Physical Activity Leadership) scholarship at Cape Breton University in Canada.

Special guests George and Linda Baird were also there to receive their son (striker John Baird)‘s medal, with the former frontman now living in Australia.

Commercial Director Tom Morgan started by talking about developments at the football club since last season prematurely ended.

Manager John McGlynn then gave his thanks to the players for their efforts, and the supporters for backing the squad.

Vice Chairman Steven MacDonald added his vote of Thanks, paying tribute to the playing staff, supporters, staff and volunteers that the club rely on.
