Ladbrokes SPFL Awards for September 2019
SPFL sponsors Ladbrokes presented the monthly awards for September for the League 1 Manager and Player of the month.
Rovers manager John McGlynn celebrated the first anniversary of his return to Stark’s Park by accepting the Manager of the Month award from Stuart Martin of main league sponsor Ladbrokes, after the team climbed to top place in the league table with league wins over Peterhead, Airdrieonians and Forfar as well as the Challenge Cup victory over Falkirk.
The teams performance in securing those 4 wins (whilst only conceding 1 goal) also meant that defender Steven Anderson was awarded the prize for Player of the Month after arriving on a loan deal to the end of the season at the start of last month.
