Kevin Nisbet – Ladbrokes Player of the Month
Congratulations to Rovers striker and leading goalscorer Kevin Nisbet who has been selected by league sponsors Ladbrokes as the League 1 Player of the Month for October!
The 21 year old has been in great goal scoring form this season since signing from Partick Thistle, and after loan spells away from Firhill at East Stirling, Ayr and Dumbarton is relishing playing regular first team football. His return of 15 goals in 17 games in all competitions (all of them starts) is unparalleled in Scottish Football which makes it slightly surprising that Kevin hasn’t been among the Player of the Month trophies more than once already…
Kevin was at Stark’s Park today to receive the trophy from Ladbrokes Kevin Robertson (himself a dedicated Rovers supporter and Stark’s Park regular), and to talk to the local and national press, radio and RaithTV about his first trophy win in Rovers colours.
