Turf’s Up!

Wednesday May 9th 2018

We are pleased to announce that work will commence next week on the laying down of a state-of-the-art synthetic playing surface at Stark’s Park, which will be of the highest specification. Contractors Malcolm of Glasgow are due to begin early next week. This is the first step in a long-term plan to make RRFC a truly self-sustaining community club.

On this note, fans will have the opportunity to buy a piece of their very own patch of the Stark’s Park turf. For a minimum donation of £5, supporters can purchase a piece of the pitch (approximately 1 meter in length) from the main office on Thursday 10th May 12pm – 6pm and Friday 11th May 9.30am – 4pm. The centre spot and 2 penalty spots can be purchased through auction by emailing commercialraithrovers.net with your bid. The winning bidder will be contacted at 12 noon on Thursday 10th May. If anyone would like to purchase multiple pieces then please phone the main office on 01592 263514 to arrange.

Don’t miss out on owning a piece of Stark’s Park history!

Rovers legend Jocky Maule makes his Rovers debut in a Fife Cup Final tie against Dunfermline at East End Park. The match ends 1-1 but Rovers lose the final on the toss of a coin.
