The Roary Club held it’s Christmas Party on Saturday in the Raith Suite and the verdict from everyone… it was a cracker!

Roary kids came along from 11 till 1 and took part in a number of games and fun activities, and even the parents got involved too. In a great surprise for the guests, all of the first team squad and manager Barry Smith came into say hello and pose for photos after training much to the excitement of the kids … as well as the adults. Development Manager Craig Easton also popped in with the young team too to complete the whole group! Easton definitely didn’t want to miss out on the fun!

It is worth mentioning that there was tense, nailbiting competition between Jason Thomson and Greig Spence in a game of table cupshot… with both eventually being shown exactly how to do it effortlessly by Roary Rover with his first throw! Keep trying lads!

The party was rounded off perfectly by a visit from Santa Claus who had gifts for the kids and enjoyed chatting to them about all things Rovers in particular. A great day was certainly had by all.

Thanks to everyone who came along and to all the volunteers who organised another great event. Even after recruiting our 600th member last week, the Roary Club is always looking for additional members and is still free to join. Email roaryclub@raithrovers.net with kids name, dob, address and adult name for your joining pack.
