Retro Rovers on Saturday

We take on Forfar Athletic at Stark’s Park this Saturday afternoon, which we’re calling Retro Rovers.

This is a chance for everyone to dig out your favourite Rovers’ top from the back of the wardrobe (allowing for any sizing issues!) and wear it to the game. We would love to see Stark’s Park kitted out from tops through the ages. There are some crackers to choose from, one of which is modelled here by Iain Davidson.

Anyone who wears a retro top to the game, if spotted by one of our eagle eye volunteers, will receive a raffle ticket to our FREE half-time draw! Our official club photographer will be on hand to capture the sartorial trip down memory lane.

We will also be decking out the Penman Family Stand Concourse with various tops which are certain to bring back memories and there are “guess the year” posters up too. See how many you can get correct… and how many you owned!

For our Stark’s Park Playlist this week, we are asking fans to submit a favourite track which brings back a brilliant Rovers memory! Even better if you tell us what that Rovers memory was so we can share it! Post your playlist suggestions to our official profiles on Facebook/Twitter or email playlist@raithrovers.net. Get them in by 8pm on Thursday.

Roary Club members are also not forgotten this week. We are looking to create future memories for our youngsters with a chance to win the chance to be our mascot at the Airdrieonians game on Saturday 23rd September. Just register at the Supporters Trust Table when having your loyalty reward card stamped.
