We are pleased to confirm that agreement in principle has been reached with Rangers to bring 18 year old striker Ryan Hardie to Stark’s Park. Subject to completion of registration formalities on Saturday, Ryan is expected to be available to face Livingston at Stark’s Park.

Contrary to inaccurate press reports this afternoon, the deal will initially be for one month only but may be extended to the end of the season if agreed by all parties.

The impressive youngster, who had his debut for Rangers 1st team in September 2014 before scoring twice on his first start against Dumbarton in April last year, has made 4 substitute appearances for Mark Warburton’s men this season and was on the bench for last night’s cup replay at Kilmarnock.

Capped at U17 and U19 levels for Scotland, Ryan will provide manager Ray McKinnon with another striking option in the weeks ahead.
