We’re delighted to report that the injury sustained by Craig Wighton on Saturday is not as bad as originally feared. There is certainly significant bruising and the knee is still painful, but assessment on Saturday evening at Ninewells Hospital and again this morning by our Sports Scientist Stuart Phin has confirmed no break or ligament damage. It is hoped that Craig will be able to resume training within the next week to ten days.

We’d also like to express thanks to Hibernian player Lewis Stevenson who took the trouble to visit Craig after the match on Saturday to wish him well.
