The Raith Trust hosted their 7th Annual Quiz Night in the Raith Suite last week. This popular event was once again sold out as a mix of weel kent faces from in and around the Rovers had a laugh whilst they battled out for the coveted Raith Trust Champions trophy.  Fourteen teams including teams from the Raith Trust, 200 Club, Jim McMillan Club, Raith TV, Rovers Directors competed, and even John McGlynn and Paul Smith made time to come along and support the event.

Quiz winners – Ali More, Alan Russell and Johnston Scott

Steve Wallace from the Raith Trust was once again the quizmaster on the night and took the team through ten rounds of questions, including the now infamous ‘Career Paths’ round and in the end ‘Shree Guid Oanest Laddies’ were the winners. The winning team comprised of Alan Russell, Ali More and Johnston Scott. At the other end of the table were the team from the Jim McMillan Club who unfortunately picked up the annual ‘Jim Leishman Losers Award’ which I am sure is now sitting pride of place on the wall in the Jim McMillan Club!

This event has now raised over £4,000 in the years that it has been running, a great testament to the regular teams who have supported this great fundraiser.

The next event in the Raith Trust events calendar is the Raith Trust Burns Night on the 26th January – details to be released soon.
