Stadium manager Craig Surgeon and his staff have been working hard since last weekend to keep the Stark’s Park pitch in a playable condition ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Greenock Morton. Our pitch covers have so far done the job and, as of Thursday evening, the pitch is in good condition and playable.

With cold temperatures forecast to continue through until matchday, covers will require to be lifted on Saturday morning amid all the other matchday preparations. So we’re asking supporters to help out on Saturday morning by volunteering to help lift the covers.  It will be a cold morning on Saturday and this is a heavy physical task so if you’re able to help out, please ensure you are appropriately dressed and are wearing strong footwear and gloves.

If you can help out, please phone Stark’s Park on Friday (01592 263514) and leave your name with office staff. We will be lifting the covers around 9.15 – 9.30 am.

Thank you
