WELCOME BACK JOSH RAE!
Raith Rovers Football Club is thrilled to confirm that Josh Rae has returned to Stark’s Park, signing a two-year deal following a successful loan spell from St Johnstone last season.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper made a big impression during his time in Kirkcaldy, keeping seven clean sheets in just 15 appearances and playing a key role in our ten matches unbeaten to end the season.
Standing at 6’2”, Rae is a commanding presence between the posts with excellent shot-stopping ability, sharp distribution, and the calmness needed at crucial moments.
His performances last season earned plaudits from fans and coaches alike, and now we’re delighted to have secured him on a permanent basis.
A product of Celtic and Leeds United’s youth setups, Josh brings a wealth of experience to the Rovers dressing room, having also featured for Airdrieonians, Queen of the South, Peterhead, Cowdenbeath, and Edinburgh City.
With over 150 senior appearances to his name and proven Championship pedigree, Josh’s return provides our squad with a major boost ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
