Kai Montagu signed for Raith Rovers on 7th June 2024.

Kai came through the St Mirren Academy before being signed for East Kilbride, joining their Under-18 squad initially and then moving up to their Under-20s. In 2023/24, he won East Kilbride’s Under-20s Player of the Year and made the step up to also play for the first-team.

An athletic midfielder, Kai bagged his first two Rovers goals in a 3-1 win against Airdrie in the 2025/26 campaign.

After extending his initial contract, Kai’s new deal runs until May 2027.
