John Sim
John Sim rejoined the Raith Rovers Board of Directors in March 2026, as Interim Chairman.
A familiar face to many at the club, John played a key role in the 2005 ‘Reclaim the Rovers’ takeover. Through this, he also became owner of Stark’s Park via Stark’s Park Properties, where he remains the majority shareholder.
In 2017, Stark’s Park Properties acquired a majority stake in the football club. At the same time, John’s vision to embed Raith Rovers more deeply within the local community was reflected in the installation of an astroturf surface, helping transform the stadium into a year-round community hub rather than a venue used only on matchdays.
In 2023, a consortium of six investors acquired a majority stake in the club from Stark’s Park Properties. John has remained active in offering his advice and expertise in an informal capacity, and the club were delighted to welcome him back in 2026.
