Jack Baird joined the Rovers in August 2026, penning a tw0-year-deal with the club.

A strong central-defender, Jack began his career with St Mirren, making his breakthrough in the 2014/15 season. Following the club’s relegation to the Scottish Championship, the defender embedded himself as one of the Buddies most important players, helping the club avoid relegation in the 2016/17 season before playing a key role in Jack Ross’ title winning side of 2017/18.

After a season of Scottish Premiership football, Jack would find himself on loan with rivals Greenock Morton in the 2019/20 season and he would subsequently joined Ayr United that summer. Over 50 appearances would follow at the Honest Men for Jack over two seasons, before he signed a contract to return to Morton in 2022, to team up with Dougie Imrie.

Following a further 100 appearances for Morton between 2022-2025, Jack would pen a contract with Simo Valakari’s recently relegated St Johnstone. Displaying his vast Championship experience, Jack would play a key role in helping St Johnstone jump back to the top tier at the first time of asking. Jack would make 37 appearances during his time in Perth, before he found his way to Kirkcaldy in the summer of 2026.
