A technical midfielder, Charlie signed for the Rovers in 2026.

Having started his career with Rangers, Charlie was snapped up by Dundee United as a teenager in 2014, before making over 50 appearances for the Tannadice club.

After leaving in 2017, Charlie would feature for Almere City in the Netherlands, before enjoying spells with Greenock Morton, Falkirk, Airdrieonians and Ross County.

Charlie rejoined Airdrie in 2025, where he spent the full season before departing in the summer of 2026.

His deal with the club runs until the summer of 2028.
