Stark’s Park: Pitch Update

We are delighted to announce that work has begun at Stark’s Park to replace our existing 3G pitch with a new state-of-the-art Greenfields ‘MX Elite’ synthetic surface.

The MX Elite is a high-tech woven system offering elite performance characteristics for professional football, and is the same surface used by fellow SPFL clubs Falkirk and Livingston.

Work began on Monday and is expected to be complete within six weeks, in time for pre-season and our Premier Sports Cup group-stage matches in July.

The new surface will benefit not only the first team but also the Community Foundation and wider local community who use Stark’s Park throughout the year.

We will keep supporters updated on progress and will reopen bookings as soon as possible so that everyone who uses the existing surface can return to play.
