In addition to the most recent acquisition of Ben Williamson on loan until the end of the season (as announced here), Raith Rovers can confirm a summary so far of our squad activity:

International Clearance for former Hibernian and Dundee United midfielder Sam Stanton has been approved, and the player is now available to play in competitive fixtures (signing announcement here).

Republic of Ireland forward Ethon Varian‘s loan from EFL Championship side Stoke City has been extended to the end of the current season. Raith Rovers extend thanks once again to Stoke manager Michael O’Neill for his co-operation in facilitating this extension to Ethan’s time in Kirkcaldy.

As previously announced (here), defender Frankie Musonda has extended his contract to the end of the current campaign.

Dylan Tait has completed his transfer to Hibs (as announced here on 1st September 2021), having been loaned back to Raith Rovers after being transferred to the Easter Road outfit last summer. Dylan played his last match for the club on Sunday, and leaves with Thanks and Best Wishes for the future from all at Stark’s Park.

Defender Dave McKay returns to the Rovers from his loan spell at SPFL League 2 Edinburgh City having played 11 times for The Citizens since October 2021 after undergoing an operation on his cruciate ligament and making a full recovery.

Young striking prospect Luke Mahady has returned to the Rovers, after his loan at SPFL League 2 Cowdenbeath came to an end.

Any further transfer activity will be announced first on the club’s official channels, after all of the relevant paperwork has been submitted and approved by the appropriate football authorities.
