RRFC Retained / Released List

Following his recent appointment, manager Barry Smith has been working hard on multiple fronts. The appointment of Scott Robertson and Kevin Cuthbert as player coaches, joining Head of Youth Craig Easton, has already been announced but Barry has also been working to bring in a number of fresh faces to complement those members of last season’s squad who are still under contract.

With most players currently either on holiday, just back or about to leave for a short break before pre season training gets under way on 22 June, progress has been quite slow but the pace of change is expected to speed up over the coming fortnight.

Meanwhile here is the latest list of Retained / Released players. There is also a small number of players with whom we are either still in discussion about their future or whom we have still to contact for reasons such as those mentioned above

Retained

Kevin Cuthbert, Kyle Benedictus, Bobby Barr, Ross Callachan, Ross Matthews, Iain Davidson, Lewis Vaughan, David McKay (new contract signed) and Scott Robertson & Jonny Court (new contracts agreed in principle).

Apprentice professionals also retained: James Berry, Ryan Stevenson, Jamie Watson, Kyle Bell & Fionn McLeod Kay. Also Rory Brian (Amateur)

Released

Conor Brennan, Joel Coustrain, Chris Johnston, Jean-Yves M’Voto, Kevin McHattie, Scott Roberts, Rudi Skacel, Mark Stewart, and David Syme

Loans Expiring

Danny Handling, Ryan Hardie, Declan McManus and Jordan Thompson
