A late save from Laidlaw
- Ross Callachan in action
Manager Grant Murray has this evening moved to secure contract extensions for two of our very promising young players, Ross Callachan and Ross Laidlaw.
Ross Laidlaw, who spent much of the season as understudy to regular keeper David McGurn but also managed to get a number of first team starts under his belt, has done enough to convince the gaffer to offer a two year deal, and we look forward to his continued career progression with the club.
Meanwhile, Ross Callachan has also shown what he can offer in the midfield role, especially in the final few games of the season, and the manager has high hopes that Ross can become a first team regular next term. A one year contract extension has been agreed.
Watch out for further signings soon, once the manager and 1st team coach Laurie Ellis return from a short break in Italy where they will take in AC Milan’s home game on Sunday although, with the best will in the world, it is unlikely they will unearth any potential signings that we can accommodate within next season’s budget!!
