Rock the Rovers is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the gig. To mark the special occasion there is currently three different events organised.
The 1st event is a Scottish Night on Friday 27th June at Kitty’s and will start at 7.30pm with the doors opening at 6.30pm.Tickets are priced at £6 and are now on sale from Styx, Kirkcaldy. On the night there will be performances from Kirkcaldy and District Pipe Band, Andy Chung, Folk That and The Tartan Specials.

This gig will also be in memory of Dennis Alexander and the organisers will pay their respects to him on the night in the best way possible.

The 2nd event is a Sportspersons dinner on Friday 27th July. Full details will be announced in the coming weeks but confirmed speakers include John Rowbotham, Craig Brown and Colin Cameron.
The 3rd event is Rock the Rovers 10 and it will be on Sunday 31st August. Doors to this will open at 12.30pm with the first band on the main stage at 2pm. On the acoustic stage in Kandy there will be 4 acts followed by a DJ. Tickets are priced at £10 and will be on sale during the summer, outlets still to be announced.

The Rock the Rovers committee hope the event can be a major celebration to help mark the previous success of the gig and to also show support for all the charities involved. These include: Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal, McCrae’s Battalion Trust, Raith Rovers FC, Kirkcaldy YMCA, Downs Syndrome Scotland, Maggies Fife and Love Oliver.
