Roaring Success for Roary Club Family Day
Saturday was not only a great day on the pitch but off the pitch was also superb too! A good turnout of adults and children ignored the horrible weather outside to join in the fun undercover in the McDermid Stand for the first Roary Club family day of the season.
The face-painters were very busy up till kick off, as was the balloon man and there were lots of activities to keep the kids entertained pre match with competitions and signed footballs to win as prizes.
Drumatik did a great job ‘drumming’ up support and our youngsters certainly made their own noise too helping the team second half score that vital winning goal.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who made the event such a success. Thank you also to Dougie the Doonhamer (Queens mascot) for coming along and being such a great sport. Special mentions also for Fife College and students Amy and Brooklynd, ACA sports, Kingdom FM, Kenny the Clown, Drumatik, Frankie and Benny’s, Fife Leisure Trust, Nicola and Caroline the facepainters and finally to the groups in the Raith Forum for their support and contributions.
Here are a selection of photos from another brilliant event:
