William Hill Championship
Raith Rovers vs Ross County
Friday, 1st May 2026
7:45pm
Stark’s Park, Kirkcaldy

The curtain comes down on Raith Rovers 2025/26 season this Friday night, as they play host to Ross County.

Last weekend’s loss to champions St Johnstone meant that qualifying for a place in the top four was now beyond the side, although Dougie Imrie’s side will be hoping they can get the win which would guarantee a fifth placed finish and the prize money that goes with it.

Ross County on the other hand have something far more important to play for, their Championship future, with the Staggies currently bottom of the table, a point behind Airdrie and three behind Morton, who also have a better goal difference by four.

With Morton playing Airdrie at Cappielow on Friday night, Stuart Kettlewell’s side will be hoping they can get all three points at Stark’s Park, and then hoping the result goes in their favour in Greenock which would allow them to finish in ninth spot and try to stay up via the playoffs.

They’ll need to perform considerably better than the last time they visited Kirkcaldy in December though, when Rovers produced their finest performance of the season, winning 6-0 through goals from Scott Brown, Paul Nsio, Jai Rowe, Jack Hamilton and a brace from Dylan Easton.

It’s been a different story at Dingwall though, with County winning both home league games by two goals to nil in October and most recently in February.

Friday evening’s match referee will be Duncan Nicolson.
