Partick Thistle v Raith Rovers
Saturday September 19th 2026
3:00 pm kick-off
WrightKer Stadium Firhill
William Hill Championship
Raith Rovers are looking to make it three wins on the spin this Saturday, when they travel to Firhill to take on third placed Partick Thistle.
The Jags had the opportunity to move above Rovers in the table on Tuesday evening, only to lose to a Stenhousemuir side who have still only dropped points to Raith during their sensational start to the season.
Mark Wilson’s men boast an extraordinary home record though, with their last league defeat at Maryhill occurring way back in April 2025 against Hamilton Accies.
That said, it is a venue that Rovers have a good recent record at, with just one defeat in their last seven visits.
That single loss came in August last year, in a pulsating match which Thistle won by the odd goal in five.
Tony Watt and Aiden Fitzpatrick had the home side two to the good within 15 minutes, but Raith roared back and were level before the interval thanks to goals from Ross Matthews and Dylan Easton. However, a goal from Logan Chalmers 15 minutes from time sealed all three points for Thistle.
Rovers last league win at Firhill was in March 2024, when a header from Euan Murray was enough to seal all three points in a frantic midweek fixture.
Rovers go into this one in fine fettle, after successive wins over Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Arbroath took them top of the table, only for Stenhousemuir to usurp them from the summit after that impressive win on Tuesday evening.
Saturday’s match referee will be Cameron Stirling.
