The Board of Directors gave the 200 Club the opportunity to move in to the club shop after it was decided that the Raith Suite would become a dedicated hospitality lounge. This was forwarded to 200 Club members at a brilliantly attended AGM in mid-June and it was unanimously decided that they would grasp the chance with both hands and do the best that they could with it.

Members and committee alike worked voluntarily almost every day throughout pre-season. Many obstacles were faced along the way, a persistent leak at the office end of the club for example but members’ varied expertise soon had the building watertight. New lights were installed after the electric system was given an overhaul, the whole place was plastered, a bar was built from scratch and a lowered insulated ceiling was put in place to make the club warmer and more inviting.

Local businesses did their best to reduce costs, some even doing the work completely free of charge! Also, club members who weren’t able to help out physically have been extremely generous in the way of financial donations.

Raith supporters who aren’t members of the 200 Club have not been shy in coming forward with offers of help too.

The 200 Club committee would like to thank everyone who was involved in the transformation of the club shop into the 200 Club both physically and financially.

We wouldn’t have the comfortable, warm environment for pre/post-match refreshment without their dedication and continued support.

To recognize and celebrate the contribution made by our members we invite both members and people who helped with the conversion to attend the official opening night of the new Raith Rovers 200 Club. This will be held on Friday 14th December at 7:30pm. Please come and join us for “bubbles and nibbles” and celebrate our remarkable achievement.
