The squad for next season continues to take shape today with the signing of former Aberdeen and Dumbarton striker Mitch Megginson (22). Mitch has been capped at both under 17 and under 19 level for his country, scoring for each representative side. His last two years saw him regularly feature for Sons, scoring 16 goals in total.

Manager Ray McKinnon is delighted to get Mitch on board, commenting “Mitch is in great shape. He is a fit young guy, and he can only benefit further from the training facilities this club can offer. I’m looking for him to be getting his name on the scoresheet regularly next season, and I’m sure he will do well with Raith Rovers.”

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, we continue to target further signings to strengthen the squad and we anticipate being able to announce the signing of a new central defender next midweek.
