McCrae’s Battalion – the Documentary
Lifelong Rovers fan and RaithTV commentator Davie Hancock recently completed his 760 mile bike ride to Contalmaison to mark the centenary of the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
He charted his progress in his own words on his personal blog: https://coaltownvelocity.wordpress.com/
Davie was also raising money to help maintain the memorial cairn and to assist funding of various educational programmes. Contributions can still be made here: https://www.givey.com/mbtcycle
