The Rovers travelled to Linlithgow to face The Rosey and give the fans their first viewing of some of the new faces that have joined the club in recent weeks.

Josh Mullin made the perfect start to his Raith Rovers career with two goals in a 4-1 win on his first start for the club.

The recent signing from Ayr United got off the mark in the opening minutes with a fantastic strike into the top corner.

Dylan Easton’s made it two with a solo run through the Rosey defence to slot past the helpless keeper before Cunningham drew one back for the home side.

Mullin netted his second, and Rovers third, and the scoring was complete when Rovers were awarded a penalty for a foul on Dylan Easton inside the box, and although the keeper did well to save Jamie Gullans spot kick 'Hammer' was first to pounce on the loose ball and net the rebound.

A highly entertaining first pre-season game for the fans and a big day for 17 year old  Jake Nicholson (pictured), the first young player to come through the Raith Rovers Community Club set up to play the final 10 minutes of the match for the Rovers.
