Match Preview
Dougie Imrie takes charge of his first home league game this Saturday, with Ross County the visitors to Stark’s Park.
Tony Docherty’s side went bottom of the table last weekend after a home defeat to Airdrie, a result which saw the Diamonds leapfrog The Staggies and leave them a point behind ninth placed Queen’s Park.
That result made it five league games without a win for the Dingwall club, although concerningly for Raith’s chances this weekend, all of Ross County’s league wins have come against Fife sides, with one win apiece against Dunfermline and Raith Rovers.
That win over Raith in October was County’s first win of their campaign, and despite Rovers creating a number of chances, a goal from Miller Thompson with 17 minutes remaining and a last minute Roman Hale effort saw the hosts take all three points.
That result made it five games without a win in this fixture for Raith, with their last win over County at Stark’s Park coming back in 2011, thanks to a solitary goal from Laurie Ellis in a 1-0 win.
Saturday’s match referee will be Matthew MacDermid.
Head-To-Head Record:

Ross County’s wins: 22
