Other Info

Sinclair Street is closed, and Morton’s car park is currently being used for construction work on the railway, so spaces are extremely limited.

All access to Cappielow is from the main road.

As the tunnel under the railway is closed, the only access from the residential area to the south is through the bridge at Cartsdyke Train Station.

Flags in the Main Stand must have a fire certificate label, and they cannot be on a pole of any sort.

Megaphones are not permitted, however drums are once they have been fully searched.

Match Preview

After a 0-0 draw with Partick Thistle at Firhill on Friday evening, Raith Rovers are heading west again on Tuesday, as they face Morton at Cappielow.

Dougie Imrie’s side go into this one in fine fettle, winning their last three Championship matches to close the gap to fourth placed Partick Thistle to just five points with a game in hand, with the two scheduled to face each other on Saturday.

Rovers were unbeaten against The Ton last term, with two wins and two draws from the four meetings, but it’s been a different story this season, with Morton winning both meetings to date.

Goals from Filip Stuparevic and Michael Garrity sealed a comfortable 2-0 win for the home side at Cappielow in October, and it was the same two players who caused the damage at Stark’s Park a month later.

Stuparevic’s early brace gave Morton a two goal cushion, but Rovers got themselves on level terms with 10 minutes remaining thanks to an own goal from Zak Delaney and Dylan Easton.

However, with Rovers pushing for a winner, Garrity pounced on some slack defending to ensure Morton claimed all three points.

Tuesday night’s match referee will be Lloyd Wilson.

Head-To-Head Record:

Morton wins: 69

Raith Rovers wins: 59

Draws: 39
