Match Preview:

Raith Rovers travel to Livingston this week, and for the second week running, take on a side managed by a former Raith boss.

Since taking charge of the West Lothian club in September, John McGlynn has taken the club from bottom of the table, to sixth place, and his new team are currently on a four game unbeaten run.

With twenty nine goals scored this season, Livingston have one of the most impressive strike records in the league, and especially at home, with only Falkirk managing more goals than Livi at their own stadium.

Much of that is down to the goalscoring form of Marc McNulty, whose brace of goals last Saturday secured a 2-2 draw with Queen of the South. His double put him on eleven goals for the season, and sees him joint top of the Championship goalscoring table with Kane Hemmings.

A win for Raith Rovers could see them overtake Hamilton in second place, while a win for Livingston would see them close the gap between themselves and the pack of clubs who are chasing a play-off spot.

Rovers have generally had a poor record in this fixture, but have defeated Livingston in their last two meetings. Overall, they’ve won three of the previous ten encounters, with Livi triumphing in five.
