Match Preview:

Raith Rovers travel to West Lothian this weekend, as they look to bounce back from last weekend’s 4-0 defeat to Rangers.

Their opponents meanwhile, Livingston, will be hoping to pick up from where they left off last week, after they disposed of Alloa Athletic by the same 4-0 scoreline.

The Raith defence will need to be particularly wary of striker Jordan White, who has started the season in superb form, after his summer move from Stirling Albion. The tall front-man has already scored seven times this season, including a hat-trick in the victory over Alloa.

He won’t be Livingston’s only danger however, as Myles Hippolyte has proven since the start of the campaign. Since signing from Southall, the 19-year-old’s performances has made him an immediate fan favourite with the Livi support, with four goals this season, although the forward has yet to get off the mark in the league.

Raith Rovers on the other hand, have several players in the squad who are returning to their former club. Paul Watson, Liam Fox, Martin Scott, and the injured Craig Barr have all represented Livingston during their careers, and they’ll be hoping that Raith can seal just their third away win against the club since 2000.

To do so, they’ll need to buck the trend of recent encounters between the two teams, with just two wins for Raith in the last ten league meetings, compared to Livingston’s seven.

Saturday’s referee will be Bobby Madden.
