Match Preview
After easing past Cliftonville to reach the fourth round of the SPFL Trust Trophy on Saturday, Raith Rovers will be hoping to keep their good form going, when they return to Championship action against Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Stark’s Park.
However, while Raith Rovers will start as favourites for the match, that seems to count little in any fixture against The Caley Jags, with Rovers going an astonishing 34 games without a win in 90 minutes against the Highland outfit.
The two sides go into this one in contrasting fortunes though, with Inverness bottom of the table with just one point from four games, albeit that was picked up against Dunfermline in their most recent league outing.
They do go into this one on the back of another defeat however, after a disappointing 4-2 loss to a dominant Arbroath at Gayfield last Saturday.
Rovers 3-0 win against the Northern Irish side on Saturday means they’ve now just lost once in 90 minutes this season, and after a win for Partick Thistle last night against Ayr United, Rovers now sit in third place of the cinch Championship.
Today’s match referee will be Chris Graham.
Today’s Stuart’s special is the Curried Mince Pie.
